What it is

Dastaan-e-Patna City is one of two heritage walks that Planet Patna runs through the old city. Its route follows places of Sikh, Hindu and Islamic worship and tells the city's history through them. The stops Planet Patna lists for it are Satyanarayan Temple, the Bihar Hitaishi District Central Library, Mangal Talab, Gurdwara Bal Leela Maini Sangat, Mir Ashraf Masjid, Chhoti Patan Devi Temple and the Quila House fort area.

The walk is led as a narrative, with folklore and religious history told along the way, and e-rickshaws carry the group between some of the stops. Participants report at 6:30 am for an orientation at 6:45 and leave at 7:00; the walk takes about two hours. The fee is ₹650 a person, and registration is by Planet Patna's form.
