What it is

The Long Night of LiteratureS comes to Kolkata for the fourth time, at the Goethe-Institut Kolkata and Alliance Française du Bengale. Writers from nine European countries read and talk with the audience, among them Christopher Kloeble from Germany, Marko Miladinović from Switzerland, Olesia Mamchych from Ukraine and Olivier Liron from France, with authors from the United Kingdom, Italy, Portugal, Poland and Slovenia. Each author reads for about twenty minutes; the audience then moves to another room to hear a different one, so in one evening a visitor hears several and can speak with them.

It is presented by the EUNIC clusters of New Delhi and Kolkata. Entry is free with registration on the organisers' form.
