Vivada Cruise runs Durga Puja special cruises on the Hooghly from 10 to 20 October 2026 aboard the twin-decked M.V. Matsakanya, and this is the dinner sailing, from 7:30 pm to 10:30 pm each evening. The three hours on the river come with a buffet dinner: a welcome drink, starters such as fish pepper salt and dry chilli chicken, a main course that includes Gandharaj chicken curry, grilled fish with lemon butter sauce and a paneer dish, and desserts. The company promises live music, dance performances and Bengali folk dance on board.
The fare is ₹2,250 plus 5% GST a person, and passengers report 15 minutes before departure. Vivada also runs breakfast (₹1,650), lunch (₹2,250) and evening (₹1,750) cruises on the same days, each plus GST. Booking is on Vivada's own site.
Its page gives the cruise office's address, 13 Strand Road, and does not name the boarding jetty.
