What it is

October's Theatre Adda is given to Mohiner Ghoraguli, the Bengali band whose songs shaped alternative music in Bengal and Bangladesh. Pradip Chatterjee, known as Bulada, one of its founding members and a performance artist who works with sound, tells the stories behind the band and its music. With him are Theatrical Bibhas, Satabdi Saha, Sumedha Dey, Rahul Ghosh, Adrija Saha, Yukta Bisht, Shrimayee Mukherjee, Urvashi Mukherjee, Sharob Sinha and Avik Rakshit.

The evening is part of a continuing study of the band's creative process and times led by Chatterjee with other enthusiasts. Theatre Adda is a series run by Culture Monks with Alliance Française du Bengale since 2015. Entry is free, but only for those who have registered on Alliance Française's form.
