What it is
Sampriti is the annual celebration of the Odissi institution Angashuddhi, and the 2026 edition is its tenth. The evening is framed as a tribute to the bond between guru and shishya, with each senior dancer appearing alongside a disciple. Padma Shri awardee Aruna Mohanty performs with Madhusmita Mohanty, and Sangeet Natak Akademi awardee Sharmila Biswas with Shashwati Garai Ghosh.
The poster also lists Angashuddhi as a performing group. It is presented by Angashuddhi in association with Sanskriti Sagar and Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Kolkata, with VichitraShala as event partner. The programme starts at 6 pm on Saturday 31 October at GD Birla Sabhagar and runs to 8 pm.
Tickets are ₹700, ₹500 and ₹300, paid through the QR code on the poster, and the venue's events page gives numbers for booking and enquiries.
